THE SUPER CUB - DROP POINT HUNTER - BLACK

$325.00

– SOLD OUT

LEAD BLADE FIRST.

The Super Cub knife is the ultimate drop point hunter with a 5 1/2" blade its large enough to take on any task you may encounter in the field. At a 9 7/8" overall length, you will have plenty of leverage for any hard use task. This knife has a small drop-down built-in guard to protect your hand from sliding up into the sharp edge of the blade. The blade is .142 thick ensuring it's strong enough for any task. To ensure this knife isn't too heavy to carry, we skeletonized the steel tang of the handle.

The 52100 carbon steel blade is oil quenched and cryogenic treated. To help prevent rust on the blade has been parkerized, giving it a nonglare protective finish.

The handle is constructed of synthetic G-10 that will not be affected by any moisture, temperature, or abuse. The Super Cub comes complete with a custom-fit Kydex sheath that can be carried vertically or horizontally.

Each Montana Knife Company™ Super Cub Drop Point Hunter comes with a Kydex sheath with a quick attach belt loop.  This belt loop can be put on your belt without removing or unclasping the belt.  The knife can also be carried horizontally or vertically by simply removing two screws, adjusting the clip, and reapplying the screws.

Love it.

I bought this blade and also a speedgoat. I am a professional guide and I’ve used the speedgoat for caping and skinning. I love the light weight of it in my pack and the way it feels in my hand. I bought the drop for gutting and skinning. I have not used it yet but I will soon. Love both knives so far though.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! One of, if not the BEST fixed blades out there!

MKC definitely lives up to the hype and is worthy of its high praise and reputation! The craftsmanship in its blades and presentation of their products and packaging truly show their pride in ownership.

Having owned other high-end knives from mainstream competitors, I can definitively say that MKC bests them in all categories and also manages to set themselves apart with unique stylistic queues. The geometry, grind, and ergonomics are second to none! Their knives practicality and principle of use are multi-fold and will most certainly meet any/all cutting task(s) you or, I may have and then some.

I will definitely be adding more of their knives and products to my load out in the future. Stop reading this and get you one before I add another to my collection!
