Parkerized 52100 Carbon Steel Blade

The Triumph is made from cryogenically-treated 52100 high carbon ball-bearing steel.

This achieves the perfect balance of toughness, edge-retention, and easy resharpening. The blade is also parkerized to a matte black finish which minimizes rust and glare.
Compact Length

The Nock On Triumph's 3.375” blade length minimizes load and space for any pack.

Weighing 1.9oz, it’s ideal for lightweight hunting and allows you to not think twice about adding extra gear that you need for a successful hunt.
Ergonomic Grip

The Triumph's extended finger guard and thumb grove protects fingers from slipping to the blade’s edge during any task.

Josh and John added these elements to the blade’s spine to give more control, dexterity, and greater ability to apply pressure while preventing slipping.

Custom “Feather” G-10 Handle

G-10 is famous for being strong, durable, and stable — unmatched by any natural handle material.

John Dudley’s unmistakable custom "feather" G-10 handle won’t absorb blood and provides superior grip, even when wet and bloody. Three hollows are cut into the handle to decrease weight and allow for maximum epoxy bonding before screws and high-strength Loctite secure the perfect fit.
Customizable Kydex Sheath

Each Montana Knife Company X John Dudley Nock On Triumph comes with an exclusive Kydex sheath.

This click-in locking sheath can be adjusted for either horizontal or vertical carry, left or right-hand placement, and varying blade retention. The reversible quick-attach belt clip also lets you attach the sheath without removing or unclasping your belt.

    Awesome blade

    This is a great knife for carrying out to the woods. Extremely sharp, feels good in my hand and I love the sheath. Oh and it looks really cool also.

    Great Collaboration

    I recently carried this tool in the woods on a whitetail hunt, not many days after receiving it. Honestly, it felt fantastic knowing that I had in my possession a capable workhorse able to handle whatever job presented itself. The unique blade design, handle look, and color choice drew me into this collaboration with one of the archery world’s top influencers. My second order in the set of three is happening today. I am pumped about adding the trio to a growing collection of MKC products.

    Very Pleased!

    I got this knife when it first dropped, but didn’t want to give a review until I used it in the field. I just got back from a bowhunt for goats in Maui. This is my favorite hunting knife. The fine clip point is excellent for getting into joints to separate ligaments and capping out the skull. Super sharp. My hand instinctively used the thumb and index finger placements on the back of the blade like Josh shows in the video. Handle fits my hand perfect. No slipping here. I thought I would like this knife. After using it for this it is now my favorite. Looking forward to deer season.

    Awesome!

    This is exactly the size & style of gutter / skinner I like. It's my 2nd MKC, Super Sharp, great sheath, super fast shipping, very well packaged, not enough to be said about Josh's great team. This knife is so comfortable in the hand, can't wait to skin one out. Nock On Triumph / Orange G10

    Amazing!

    I feel lucky to own one! Used it on my moose this year. Perfect for detail work and poking grip holes in the hide, also held its edge and easy to hold on too in below freezing temps! And it matches my bow equipment!
