Meet the newest member of the MKC family, the Speedgoat 2.0. As an upgrade to our most popular knife, the original Speedgoat, we've taken your feedback and our relentless quest for perfection to craft the Speedgoat 2.0.
The Speedgoat 2.0 retains the trusted blade of its predecessor while introducing safety features and ergonomic improvements. With a new finger guard for added safety and a slightly longer handle for better grip, you’ll experience unmatched control and comfort in every cut.
Additional enhancements include added thickness in high-stress areas for increased strength, a widened lanyard hole in the handle for easy threading of paracord, and minor tweaks to the handle shape for improved ergonomics.

My son who is almost 14 has been working his tail off to get his hunters ed license and a tool craft badge on Royal rangers. So when I came upon MKC on a Mike Rowe podcast I knew that I wanted to get him a quality knife for Christmas! Bonus points for made in MT. I love that their company sources materials in the US! That's so important to me. He loved it and hasn't stopped wearing it on his belt since. It is very sharp too. He's been so good to take extra care because it's so sharp. We could not be happier with our purchase and will be purchasing knives from this company again! I do wish you made kitchen knives 🙏🏼

I’ve carried this knife on all of my whitetail hunts and duck hunts. In the 3 weeks I’ve cleaned 2 whitetail bucks and over 50 ducks with no issues and the blade stayed sharp. I won’t ever go away from MKC

Love the weight, feel and balance of the Speedgoat 2.0. Had it fastened to pack while on CO elk hunt this year. Kydex sheath worked well. Blade locks in well without worry of falling out. Blade is a real tool for the backcountry. Sharp as a razor and durable.

I have been using the Speedgoat 2.0 around the farm and working with machinery, animals etc. The knife is super easy to handle. It is also easily sharpened though it has held a good edge through some tough usage. My daughter used it to field dress her first deer this year as well and it worked well and was easy for her to use. Looking forward to adding more to the collection.
