In 2026, we’re coming out swinging with one of the most advanced and technical pieces of MKC Apparel to date.
The “Whitefish” Waxed Canvas Puffy Jacket is a completely original MKC creation, born out of pure Montana necessity. We live in puffy jackets for eight months out of the year, but traditional puffy jackets simply are not built to last. Most make it through one season before they are ripped apart, falling to pieces, and leaking goose feathers.
So we decided to roll the dice and build the most durable puffy jacket possible. One that delivers the warmth and insulation of a puffy jacket combined with the rugged, hard-use durability of a traditional waxed canvas work jacket.

MKC really knocked it out of the park when they created this jacket. It's stylish, built to last and it's packed with warmth!! You don't need to layer if you're wearing this cause you'll be sweating before you step outside. This jacket really is a game changer. Don't hesitate to buy one or two if you want a very warm, reliable and great looking jacket! I couldn't decide which color I wanted so I chose to buy both!

Nailed it! This thing is nice. The fit is spot on and feels quality. I have worn it everywhere from the chicken coop to date night. It's also surprisingly warm as it blocks wind VERY well. I'm never disappointed with your products. Keep up the good work guys!!!

This thing fits great and feels great! Ive worn it almost every day since I received it. It keeps wind and water off, no drafts come in from the back, and the zipper pockets are deep enough to keep a monster in. I wish I bought a second one to keep nice as I wear mine for work!
It fits over a light hoodie/MKC flannel.

I don’t like buying new clothes because they end up in the shop day one…getting stains, finish, epoxy and diesel on them. This jacket feels like it was handed down from a cool grandpa. Tough, water resistant, nice enough to wear out to dinner with your gal.
