It’s hard to leave a review regarding how this knife will last over time being that it’s a month or so old. What I can say is as soon as you take it out of the box you can feel the American Workers that this Small Business employs who have handled it from the very beginning to the point where it’s put into the box, if that makes sense. Nothing but quality. You can just feel it. I love that MKC supports other small American businesses by bringing their products in and offering them on the site. Everything offered by MKC is American Made. You just don't get that anymore. I love it. Worth every single penny IMO.
The knife has been awesome on a few fishing trips I’ve been on. From dicing some mullet to gutting some trout it’s been great. I’m confident that it can handle anything I will need it for.
I can’t wait for the tactical line of blades that Josh mentioned would be hitting sometime next year. I know for sure anything I purchase from MKC will have the highest quality and pride put into it. Did I mention this is an ALL AMERICAN SMALL BUSINESS! Bringing back American manufacturing and craftsmanship one knife at a time. Can’t get enough.
Follow them on Instagram like I do and you’ll find other Small American businesses on their page that are pure gems!
Anyway, as a young father of two boys I cant wait to pass these down to them thirty years from now. Might be one of the last American made products of quality that isn’t a mass produced item that we’ll see. Best part, these knives are going to be considered some of the earliest generations being that MKC is still so young and growing incredibly fast! Hopefully Josh can figure out a way that we can identify the age of the knife by stamping/printing something small on the heel or sheath so when my grandchildren hold it they can look up exactly how old it is. Like D23 would be great for mine. D for the quarter and 23 for the year. Nothing cooler than knowing you’re holding something that someone made before you were born!
Well enough said. If you’re on the fence, just jump. If your not happy with knife let me know and I’ll take it off you.
