ABOUT TETON LEATHER COMPANY AND FRANCESCA
From a true artistic beginning apprenticing with a master jewelry maker, to creating beautiful knives as a bladesmith, Francesca found her calling with the art of leather making. Her love for the craft began when one of her knife collectors asked her to make a high-end custom leather sheath for an art knife he had procured. Through trial and error, she created a beautiful piece of art, remembering “When my concept became a reality, and what I saw in my head was here physically in front of me, that was a life changing moment.”
She has been chasing that creativity induced high she felt in 2014 ever since. Designing custom leather goods out of a variety of exotic leathers, such as invasive python and alligator. “Often nature is imitated in the modern world” Francesca says “Nothing can truly capture the precise and perfect beauty that comes from natural materials. Each species offers its own texture, thickness, durability, pattern and characteristics, it’s the perfect challenge for me.”
Francesca is an avid outdoorsman, from hunting, fishing, camping, snowboarding, and surfing, she loves being outside in nature with her daughter Olivia. She often says, “When I’m not working on leather or designing, I’m outside pulling inspiration from the mountains and wildlife around me, then I take that home and create, it’s a cycle that I go through and it’s really fulfilling.”
Bringing to the table a versatile range of professional talent, Francesca is a full-time designer and leather artisan, specializing in high end custom bespoke products. She excels with hand dying hides and color matching, beautifully wrapped skulls, and design and concept consulting for some of the best brands in the industry. Her team of skilled and thoroughly trained leather artisans are proud to stand on her expectation of meticulous detail and deliver the best leather products on the market.

Holds about four cards, it's tight. It's high quality, and holds enough to go out for the night I.e credit card, ID, and some cash. Sits in front jeans pocket comfortably.

I was hopeful the wallet would be worthy of the MKC name and I was not disappointed. I was truly impressed with the leather quality and stitching. The minimalist design is exactly what I wanted. It’s also nice to be able to support American businesses when so many folks seem to like Cheap Chinese garbage these days. It holds plenty of cash and I keep 4 cards in the front pocket. It usually gets a little lighter on Thursday nights 9 PM Eastern time.😉😉😉I know leather will eventually wear out, but this one should last quite a while. Thanks for making another great product worth buying.

Everything from MKC is top notch and this is really no different but I think my card wallet is probably a little different. It’s considerably lighter than the pictures, the bison skull embossing is slightly cockeyed, and it’s not as trim as the pictures. Overall it’s still solid but just not quite perfect like the rest of MKC.

I have an Orvis front pocket leather wallet that I love. When I saw the MKC bison wallet it reminded me of the Orvis and I always like to have 2 of my best functioning items to prolong their lifespan and obviate the need for an urgent purchase in case they get lost or damaged. (I rotate both dress and casual shoes by day of the week for the same reasons). The MKC wallet is tight at the start but loosens up over time. It’s a good idea to be snug so ID or credit cards don’t fall out. I can easily get 5 cards and 6 bills (folded over in thirds) in the wallet. This, like the Orvis, will last forever. I have 2 sons so I can give one to each down the road.
