POLISHED MAGNACUT STAINLESS STEEL

As a cryogenically heat-treated stainless steel, MagnaCut provides the perfect blend of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance.

Unlike other stainless steel blades, MagnaCut can be easily resharpened, even by novice knife owners. More wear-resistant than other stainless steels, and more corrosion-resistant than carbon steel, MagnaCut is in a class of its own. Through strategic milling and precision pocket work on the internal handle structure, we've brought the Blackfoot Ultra down to just 2.64 ounces, nearly a full ounce lighter than the original 3.6-ounce Blackfoot.

The blade maintains the same proven thickness and length that made the original a legend, while the redesigned handle achieves that aggressive, lightweight aesthetic the Ultra family is known for. This is the Blackfoot reimagined for those who measure their gear in grams, not ounces.

TAPERED THUMB RAMP AND REFINED ERGONOMICS

The Blackfoot Ultra features a distinctive tapered thumb ramp that flows seamlessly into the handle, creating the fast, lightweight profile that defines our Ultra series.

This design element does more than look sleek. It provides natural hand positioning while contributing to the knife's dramatic weight reduction. We've added subtle scallops for improved grip dynamics, and the thinned-out handle profile still offers excellent control during extended use. While slightly less plush than the original Blackfoot's comfort-focused handle, the Ultra's ergonomics are perfectly calibrated for backcountry hunting where light and fast is the priority.
EXCLUSIVE MKC KYDEX SHEATH

Each Blackfoot Ultra comes with a custom-molded MKC Kydex sheath designed specifically for this knife's unique profile.

The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. Engineered to accommodate the tapered thumb ramp and overall handle thickness, this black Kydex sheath provides secure protection whether you're climbing high-elevation ridges or navigating dense timber. The Kydex clip allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.
