DETAILED BREAKDOWN OF FEATURES
Parkerized 52100 Carbon Steel Blade
The Stonewall Skinner is made from cryogenically treated 52100 high-carbon ball-bearing steel, achieving the perfect balance of edge retention, toughness, wear resistance, and easy resharpening. The blade is also parkerized to a matte black finish, which minimizes rust and glare.
The Stonewall’s shape is all about balance without sacrifice. It features a shallower curve than some pro skinners like the Beartooth, but this is no Tanto blade. The large belly allows for long sweeping strokes with less punctured hides while the tip is easily accessible for non-skinning jobs.
Sharp and Stout
The Stonewall is 0.135” thick at the spine, but only 0.0.15” thick at the edge — making it stout enough to withstand any abuse and sharp enough to cut like a laser. The 4.75” blade provides enough surface area for effortless skinning and enough steel to baton through wood.
Bulletproof G-10 Handle
The G-10 handle scales are equally as tough as the blade. G-10 is famous for being strong, durable, and stable — unmatched by any natural handle material. It won’t absorb blood and provides superior grip… even when wet and bloody. Three hollows are cut into the handle to decrease weight and allow for maximum epoxy bonding before screws and high-strength Loctite secure the perfect fit.

I received my Stonewall in Magnacut several weeks ago. I was champing at the bit to put it to work. Last night my buddy called and said he downed two hogs with his 6.8. I slapped on my boots and out the door. We tag teamed/butchered the hogs and my buddy said "This is the nicest knife I have ever held bar none" Made short work of the duo and still shave hair sharp. I can sharpen a knife and can appreciate the factory edge. Typically, I get a new knife and I immediately reprofile the edge but, in this case. Good to Go!! Bravo MKC/Josh and crew.
Let me start off by saying it’s the best knife I own hands down. The quality is unmatched the fitment is exceptional, I love the sheath. Although I cannot say I’ve been able to skin a deer with it yet, I have used to to process and breakdown other deer the results, it’s not as sharp as I thought it was going to be. I’ve even tried trimming some deer meat I have in the freezer and it seems to struggle with that. I have a cousin who has the Super Cub and that knife is extremely sharp. He’s skinned and processed 3 deer and it’s every bit as sharp as day one. Starting to wish I would’ve gotten the Super Cub instead. Either way I’m still impressed with the blade just wish it was sharper.
I have skinned a 2400lb bull bison hide as well as used this for fleshing it’s hide and two other bison hides. I don’t think any knife can sustain sharpness long with that task but this one does the best for it. I love the feel and shape of it.
What can anyone say other than it's one hell of a knife. It feels amazing in the hand! It was money well spent while breaking down big game this past fall!
This is the most perfect knife I have used in over 30 years of hunting. It has a great point to start your skinning lines, plenty of belly for skinning, and enough straight section for efficient slicing and cutting. It sharpens up to a super keen edge. While this knife is larger than most other hunting knives it handles and feels as though it is smaller than it actually is.
