The MKC Culinary Collection features The Big Horn Chef, The Smith River Santoku, and the Little Bighorn Petty. All three knives were born from the collaboration between MKC Founder & Master Bladesmith, Josh Smith and renowned knife maker Mareko Maumasi — with his extensive knowledge as a bladesmith and experience in the restaurant industry.
The knives are made with Magnacut Stainless Steel and finished with a black PVD coating for optimal durability. The handles are constructed of G-10 and contoured for a comfortable grip and come in your choice of three colors: Black, MKC Orange, and Red.

These knifes are extremely sharp and they stay that way for way longer than anything else you can buy. The set is amazing my wife just used one today and poked her plam and now she needs to see a othapedic surgeon because they made an indent into her bone so 10/10 these knifes are sharp.

I ordered these when they dropped a few weeks ago but unfortunately I wasn't able to use them right away since I drive truck over the road. I finally was able to use them when I got home. I decided to make chicken stir fry from scratch and was very pleased how easy it was to cube chicken and make vegetable stripe! I'm loving these knives and what MKC stands for. Keep up the great work and I'll keep the support coming!

These are just beautiful, especially paired with the magnetic wood holder. They are balanced so nicely and the fit to your hand feels like an extension of your body. By far the nicest kitchen knives that I’ve ever used and probably ever will use. The sharpness and balance literally knocks time off any kitchen work, pretty neat thing really. Keep up the good work MKC! The initial hesitation about the price fades away very quickly after each use, I promise.
