The Speedgoat has become one of our most popular knives because of its weight, thinness, and toughness. Meet its little brother, the Mini-Speedgoat. The Mini-Speedgoat is tough enough to tackle the same tasks as the Speedgoat, but the smaller, thinner, and lighter design makes it even more ideal for non-hunting purposes.
At 6.5 inches and 1 ounce, the Mini-Speedgoat is the first practical fixed-blade EDC knife. It’s virtually unnoticeable when clipped inside a pant pocket, and the 3-inch blade makes the Mini-Speedgoat legal for open carry in most U.S. cities.
Already have the Speedgoat 2.0, but also wanted a fixed blade EDC. The mini SG is perfect for this. The thing is so light weight, I don’t feel it in the front pocket. So thin, I can reach the money clip without interference. Fixed blade EDC’s are a tall order, and this knife is the only one I’m keeping for that purpose. Do prefer the leather sheath, so get on that availability, please…
It's a perfect knife to have on you for whenever a knife is needed! It's sharp, light, small/not cumbersome and can handle any task that day to day life requires. Highly recommend, can't wait for a magnacut drop!
Tried to change the mounting clips and lost all my screws. Can you help?
Thanks for the review Andrew. Sorry to hear you lost your screws. If you haven't yet, please reach out to email@example.com for some assistance. Let them know what screws you lost. Pictures alway help if you can include them too.
Really like it, very sharp as has been mentioned right out of the box, and lightweight.
I plan to change the wrap to black or gray, since this is a little flashy (what was available - sold out fast) for my taste, since will be an EDC. Not a big deal to wrap, as there is a nice video on this.
Thanks for the review Steve. I tell my friends it's SCARY sharp!
If you need help with rewrapping your handle take a look at this link to our YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjMMeYRkr48
Thanks for supporting MKC!
Great EDC knife. I had one already until the oaracord got caught between my hand a ladder as I was getting on a boat. Now it sits in the bottom of a harbour in Hollywood Florida. Taking a magnet when I go back to see if it is still there.
Oh man! Fingers crossed you find your original knife Brandon. If not, reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org. They might be able to help you out.
Thanks for the review!
