THE BEARTOOTH - PRO SKINNING BLADE - GREY
$350.00 USD– RESTOCKING SOON
THE MONTANA KNIFE COMPANY™ - BEARTOOTH PRO-SKINNER BLADE
DESIGNED IN THE FIELD
The Beartooth Blade was designed and tested in conjunction with professional Alaskan bear guide Cole Kramer. This knife is purpose-built as a professional-grade knife. Its primary design is for fleshing hides. The sweeping design allows the user to take long sweeping strokes providing as much working edge as possible with little interference of a pointy tip. Large hides can take a lot of work and a large well-designed knife can help cut that work down considerably. This blade is as thin as many pocket knives making it a knife that can be used in a repetitive motion for hours while also being incredibly easy to sharpen. Don’t let the thin blade fool you. In tests, this knife flexed 90 degrees before returning back to near straight.
The Montana Knife Company™ Beartooth Pro Skinner has three hollows cuts into the handle to decrease weight and provide a place for the epoxy to bond the steel and handle material. Screws and high-strength lock tight hold the handle scales in place tightly.
Each Montana Knife Company™ Beartooth Blackfoot Skinner comes with a Kydex sheath with a quick attach belt loop. This belt loop can be put on your belt without removing or unclasping the belt. The knife can also be carried horizontally or vertically by simply removing two screws, adjusting the clip, and reapplying the screws.
THE BEARTOOTH PRO SKINNING BLADE
The Montana Knife Company Beartooth Mountains in Montana are as rugged as it gets. Cole Kramer hunts the extreme conditions of Alaska with the largest bears on the planet. It only seemed fitting to call this rugged purpose build knife “The Beartooth."

Awesome as always
I pay attention to metallurgy because i believe it makes a difference in the overall performance of the blade, whether cutting, skinning, or sharpening. The blade is thin and fits great in my hand. Won’t try it, but the video showing flexibility of the knife is almost unbelievable! Can’t wait to try it out, maybe in the kitchen first; archery for deer just opened!
Amazing craftsmanship and blade shape. Can’t wait to use it
You have so many functions for this blade, you’re kind of just along for the ride! I feel the movie “127 hours” would have been “17 mins later”. I don’t doubt for a second I could severe off my 1 remaining leg clean as can be with this Beartooth!
Love this knife skinned an cut up 3 deer with it holds an edge forever and is razor sharp.
