Most people say perfection is an illusion — an ideal or myth that can’t exist in reality. We say perfection is an 8 5/8″ drop point deer knife called The Whitetail.
After countless requests for a whitetail deer blade, we’ve finally done it. And we couldn’t be prouder. The 4-inch blade combines our classic drop point shape with more belly, allowing the Whitetail to skin, gut, bone out, and process meat with ease.
The Whitetail has quickly become one of our favorite blade designs to date. While it’s specifically designed for treestand and deer blind whitetail hunting, it can take on mule deer, elk, goats, bighorns, moose, and even bear… far above the woods.

Finally got my first MKC knife and it is a real beauty. It looks great and feels awesome in my palm, the weight is perfect and the blade is very sharp right out of the box, I will be carrying this knife into the field this fall. Also, it fits perfect in the horizontal sheath.

This knife has incredible ergonomics, a great blade shape and size, and it made with top teir materials for most work and conditions! I use it on everything from squirrels to deer, and it could definitely go bigger. Have had zero issues with the magnacut in any conditions. Couldn't recommend this knife enough!

After watching all the videos and ads, I finally made the plunge and purchased a MKC Whitetail. The final influence was a shout at to you guys from Donnie Vincent. I gotta say the knife was all that it was supposed to be, and then some. Ergonomics, style, lightweight, and edge retention. So far I have used it only once, and that was on a Texas red stag. It made the job easy cutting through the tough hide and sternum. Keep up the good work, I definitely plan on adding another to my kit.

Nicely balanced, well sized knife. I ordered the leather sheath as well, which was made of incredibly stiff and extremely high qualty leather. Very challenging to work the knife into the sheath the first few times, but boy, does it produce a secure custom fit. No way that you are going to lose this knife in the field!
