Big On Comfort

At just under 9 inches from tip to tail, the Stubhorn might seem imposing at first glance, but trust us, it's a gentle giant.

We've put a full grind on the front to keep the weight down, so it's not as heavy as it looks. Tipping the scales at about 5.25 ounces, this blade sports a fine trailing point and a large belly, making it the perfect companion for any task.
Our Most Capable Handle

The Stubhorn's handle is where the magic really happens. Made from bulletproof G-10, it's thick, ultra-comfortable, and feels like shaking hands with an old friend from the moment you grip it.

The oversized safety guard at the front gives you peace of mind, while the near-cylindrical shape allows for multiple comfortable grips, no matter the size of your hand or the task at hand. Even after a long, chilly day in the field, this handle will feel like a warm handshake.

A Point That Means Business

With a surgical tip and a slight trailing point made from Magnacut Stainless Steel, the Stubhorn is reminiscent of a skinning knife, but is a true all-around hunting blade.

Steve places a premium on clean opening cuts, so incorporating a surgical cutting tip was a no-brainer. Beyond that, the Stubhorn maintains a clean, classic shape with no hard edges.
Little Details That Make A Big Difference

We've scalloped out the front of the blade so you can get a pinch grip when you need that extra control.

And because we know you'll want to keep this beauty close, we've added a lanyard hole at the back for paracord or leather, making it easy to hang on your person or around camp.
EXCLUSIVE MKC OPEN CARRY SHEATH 2.0

Each Stubhorn comes with a USA Made, custom MKC Kydex sheath.

The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. The Stubhorn sheath comes with a Kydex clip that allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

Freaking sick as always!

I started off That the MKC knives were just overpriced and I would never get one. I am now on my third knife from MKC and yes they are that good from the quality craftsmanship to how sharp they are it’s worth every penny!

Bought this for my son’s birthday to use on his first elk hunt this fall. We are really impressed at the quality of the knife and how sharp it is right out of the box. This is an heirloom quality knife that should last him for the rest of his young hunting career!

Another superb knife

Consistent with all the MKC knives, the Stubhorn has a perfectly fine edge, quality materials, and an impeccable balance. Not sure how Josh and teams have dialed in such a great hand feel and balance on every blade, but these are sone of the best fitting, top performing knives I’ve ever seen. They’re light but tough as nails. Great design. Again
