But don't let its lightweight fool you - this knife packs a serious punch when it comes to performance.

Unlike many ultralight knives that sacrifice comfort, the Flattail features a full G10 handle below the integrated fingerguard. Available in seven colorways, this bulletproof material provides a secure grip in any conditions while resisting moisture and wear.
Stonewashed MagnaCut Stainless Steel

We finished the premium MagnaCut steel in a low-glare stonewashed texture that hides wear and improves scratch-resistance.

As a cryogenically heat-treated stainless steel, MagnaCut provides the perfect blend of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. Unlike other stainless steel blades, MagnaCut can be easily resharpened — even by novice knife owners.

More wear-resistant than other stainless steels, and more corrosion-resistant than carbon steel, MagnaCut is in a class of its own.

Precision Tip Blade

With a full flat grind and precision tip, the Flattail excels at slicing tasks and when you need a strong edge with a slim profile.

It also features a fine tip that is purpose-built for intricate tasks like caping and navigating around delicate areas but without sacrificing strength or comfort in the hand.

This allows for unparalleled control when working on smaller game or performing detailed trophy work and still holds up for tasks around camp.
Integrated Lanyard Hole

A signature feature of the Rinella line, the integrated lanyard hole offers versatile options and added security when deciding how to carry. 

Easily attach a lanyard for quick retrieval or to prevent accidental drops in critical moments.
EXCLUSIVE MKC OPEN CARRY SHEATH 2.0

Each Flattail comes with USA Made, custom MKC Kydex sheath.

The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. The Flattail sheath comes with a Kydex clip that allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

    Meateater flattail

    The flattail feels at home in my hand from the beginning. The narrow handle up front that gets wider towards the butt of the knife really locks it into my hand. The stonewashed Magnacut blade looks amazing. I prefer this finish over my mirror finish on my mini speedgoat. I like the high vis orange too. There’s no misplacing it out in the field.
