The Redacted’s drop point blade with a high saber grind is engineered for maximum tip durability during the most demanding survival tasks.

Unlike traditional bushcraft techniques, real SERE operations often require jamming the knife tip into wood, then twisting and hammering to rapidly process kindling or build emergency shelters. We’ve reinforced the Redacted’s blade geometry to handle this punishing technique while maintaining precision for more delicate tasks. This knife excels at wood processing, shelter building, and creating emergency tools — the foundation of wilderness survival.

CERAKOTE MAGNACUT STAINLESS STEEL BLADE

The Redacted features a 4 7/8-inch drop point blade made of premium Cerakote MagnaCut stainless steel for maximum durability and minimal rust and glare.

We don’t compromise when it comes to steel, and the Redacted is no exception. It’s tough enough to baton through dense materials, precise enough for intricate tasks, and always ready for critical situations.

COMBAT-READY G10 HANDLE WITH A TACTICAL TEXTURE

The Redacted features a full-sized ergonomic G10 handle with our signature tactical texture pattern on the flats for a secure grip in any condition.

Designed with a palm swell that prevents rotation during hard use and flat sides that provide positive indexing, this handle stays secure even when wet, muddy, or bloody. The forward thumb ramp allows for precision control when needed, while the handle’s overall design facilitates multiple grip positions for different survival tasks. The integrated finger guard protects your hand during the most demanding cutting and prying operations.

INTEGRATED STEEL POMMEL

The Redacted’s extended tang forms a robust pommel designed for hammering, pounding, and emergency impact tasks.

Whether you’re driving stakes, breaking materials, or using the knife in a hammer grip to baton wood, this reinforced pommel takes the abuse so your handle doesn’t have to. We’ve carefully integrated this feature while maintaining the knife’s overall balance and ensuring the lanyard hole remains protected from impact damage.

EXCLUSIVE MKC TACTICAL KYDEX SHEATH

Each Redacted comes with a custom-molded MKC and extremely durable Kydex sheath.

The sheath features a built-in retention system with adjustable tension for secure carrying in any environment. Configurable for horizontal or vertical carry and compatible with our quick-attach system, the Redacted sheath ensures your knife is always accessible when needed but secured when not in use.

My favorite MKC Knife
The Redacted is my EDC when I stay at my father’s ranch in rural Northern California. Super lightweight for its size, perfect in scout carry. Handles ranch work like nothing, from cutting cord, to feathering and light botoning for small ranch, camp fires. MKC nailed the ergonomics. Can’t wait for the folder guys.

It’s a Beast!
This Redacted knife is a true beast! Whether it’s for survival or combat, this knife won’t let you down! I love the coyote and OD Green color scheme I was fortunate to get mine in. Great work MKC! Another great addition to my growing collection.

Best blade!
It chops kindling better than my hatchet, feels great in the head with perfect balance, looks amazing, chops and slices anything. Not even a scratch to the coating.
