Great sheath, but the clip that comes with is questionable if you ask me. I prefer to install a tec loc to carry horizontally. Much more secure and allows less movement. And you can change the handle angle higher by mounting on the blade edge of the sheath.
Montana Knife Company2 months agoThanks for the 5 star review Paul! Love hearing that you think it's a great sheath - that's exactly what we're going for with our Kydex sheaths!
We appreciate the honest feedback about the clip and your preference for the tec loc setup. It's great to hear you found a carry method that works better for you with more security and less movement. Feedback like this about different carry preferences is really valuable for us to understand how our customers are using their gear.
Thanks for the honest review and for your MKC support!

While I like the standard sheaths that come on MKC blades, there is something about this Green Sheath for my Trail Goat. It has the same positive lock-up and features as the black sheath...but this gives it a bit more rugged look. I like it!
Montana Knife Company3 months agoThank you for the five stars, Jep! So glad you're loving the green Kydex sheath and that rugged look it gives your Trail Goat! Awesome that you're getting that same positive lock-up and great features!

Let me tell you, Josh's decision to come out with a GREEN sheath for the WARGOAT/BATTLE GOAT was superb. The look of the green sheath on either of these blades is phenomenal. And they have the same positive lock-up as the regular sheaths. I couldn't be happier!
