Position Overview

As a Customer Service 1 with Montana Knife Company, you will be a part of our CS/Fulfillment team. You will be responsible for responding to reviews, handling returns and Generations, and responding to social media comments and questions. MKC will train all new employees as well as provide you with all the essential technology required.

In this role, you will be required to perform repetitive tasks each day with attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and utmost efficiency. As a company that strives to be number one in customer service, it’s important that our employees take pride in every interaction they have with every customer, big or small.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Respond to customer comments, questions, and emails with a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and policies to provide accurate information and guidance to customers.
  • Order Processing: Assist with handling returns or exchanges.
  • Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure resolution.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and report customer feedback to help improve our products and services.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Experience using customer service software, CRMs, and other tools.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A patient and empathetic attitude when dealing with customers.
